Release notes and what to expect in the future
Hi! First of all, thank you for taking the time to click on this, and more thanks if you have played the game. I made this game in around 60-70 hours over 2 weeks, inspired by the recent craze that is Vampire Survivors, and while I tried as much as I can to polish the game and iron out bugs, a few people have since pointed out to me a whole assorted list of gameplay issues. Thankfully, I'm happy to say that they aren't game-breaking.
The current version now have about 5-10 minutes of content, and honestly not a very well thought out upgrade system. Controls still aren't at the place where I want it to be at (I wanted a game that can be played with one hand), and there are a whole slew of things I need to improve on.
I'm taking a few days of break before I continue to work on Life in the Abyss again, if only just to remove my rose tinted lenses and finally see the game for what it is. I'm also still so in love with the concept that is VS, so I might have forced some elements in, and may decide to outright remove whole sets of features if the game turns out to be better for it.
I will still open the page periodically even on break, so feel free to post a comment (good or bad) on the page, it'd make my day regardless, knowing that you took the time to write it.
Thanks for reading!
